About

Padmalochan Panda holds a Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai, India, where his doctoral research focused on the “Synthesis and characterization of pristine and doped (Ti and Cr) AlN thin films.” From 2021 to 2023, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-Bombay), working on the fabrication and characterization of ZnO- and AlN-based acoustic resonators, including HBAR, SAW, and SMR devices. Since February 2024, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Lecce, contributing to the project “AlN and AlScN-based Piezoelectric Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducers (PMUTs) for Neuromodulation.”
